Nairobi, March 17– Citizen TV’s Janet Mbugua has resigned from Royal Media Services (RMS) bringing her 6-year career to a screeching halt.

There have been rumours that the mother of one had resigned over Jeff Koinange’s addition to the newsroom
Janet and her colleagues at the station take home a figure that is way below the KSh 1 million mark.
According to a Kenyan tabloid, Businesstoday, Mbugua has left her News rooom perks for a better a paying job at Red Cross Kenya.
The offices of the humanitarian organisation are in South C, Nairobi.
Janet will be taking up the role of communications and advocacy director and the figures in remuneration packages are much better than her previous job.
It has been confirmed that her resignation has nothing to do with Jeff Koinange joining Citizen TV.
