The Kenyan National Assembly has officially rejected the Finance Bill 2024 after President William Ruto’s reservations to sign it following widespread protests.
The House voted in agreement with the President’s reservations and recommended deleting all clauses of the Finance Bill 2024, effectively rejecting the Bill in its entirety.
