“No weapon forged against you will prevail”; That is a declaration by Maria Kilobi, wife of COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli after his ‘death rumours’ circulated online.
Kilobi, a KTN journalist, made an early morning post of a bible verse accompanied by photos showing a healthy Atwoli having a good time in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
“Isaiah 54:15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake!” she posted.
“17: No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute EVERY tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the LORD.”
Atwoli topped the trending list on X on Sunday evening after an online creator identified as Tiba Asilia ‘predicted’ in 2023 that Brian Chira,a top Kenyan journalist and Francis Atwoli would never see the end of the year.
Atwoli who is currently in good health, was also pictured with assistance Secretary General Ernest Nadome in Dubai.
Atwoli has been away for two weeks after touring Europe and the Gulf after Kenyans in the Gulf invited him to deal with their labour issues.
