NARC Kenya has officially announced its departure from the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition.
The decision, conveyed through a letter addressed to the coalition’s Secretary General, Hon. Junet Mohammed, was signed by Asha Bashir, the Acting Secretary General of NARC Kenya.
NARC Kenya’s leadership expressed that continuing their association with Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition is no longer tenable under the current political climate.
“As NARC Kenya by way of this letter, we are giving notice to exit the Coalition as stipulated in the exit clause(s) in the Coalition Agreement. This notice is effective from the date of this letter,” the correspondence states.
NARC Kenya’s decision to part ways with the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition is poised to have a significant impact on the political landscape, potentially reshaping alliances and strategies ahead of future electoral contests.
