A Kakamega Magistrate has withdrawn case she had filed against Mumias East MP Peter Salasya for reportedly threatening to k!ll her.
Kakamega Small Claims Court Magistrate Gladys Kiama had accused Salasya for confronting her outside a courtroom and threatened to k!ll her.
Earlier Kiama had ordered Salasya to pay a businessman Ksh.500,000 that he owed.
“That I am the complainant in the above matter against one Hon. Peter Salasya. That I wish to withdraw the said complaint against him as we consider alternative dispute resolution in a more amicable environment.” said Kiama in a letter addressed to Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP).
The latest development gets Salasya off the hook and provides the two parties and opportunity to settle the matter.
